  • The Forum Waterford

    The Forum Waterford premises originally opened as 'The Regal Cinema' in 1937 and operated as a 1500 seater cinema up to the 70's, after which Bingo became it's mainstay. Extensively refurbished during the 80's, it was transformed into a 1200 seater modern Concert Hall, which opened as 'The Forum' in April 1990. The following decade it played host to top touring acts including: Johnny Cash, The Corrs, David Gray, Van Morrisson, Christy Moore, Billy Connolly, and many more. During the millennium year major renovations again took place to create a multi-purpose venue with 4 separate spaces ranging from 100 to 1000 capacity.
    Catering to both young and old, the Forum Waterford offers diverse entertainment weekly and since reopening, in October 2000, has been host to the very best of Irish and International Musicians, DJ's, Comedians, Theatrical Productions as well as running Bingo Sessions. Forum Waterford is the premier Live Venue in South-East Ireland and is renowned as one of the leading entertainment venues in the country. It is owned and operated by a private company, Coherent Enterprises Ltd.
