IRISH WHISKEY WALL

April 15, 2016

“Too much of anything is bad, but too much good Whiskey is barely enough.”

That’s when we started the ‘Irish Whiskey Wall’, what started small with a few varieties of Whiskey has become a full wall in our bar dedicated to over 40 different varieties. This new love of ours led us to amazing local Whiskeys such as Muldoon Irish Whiskey Liqueur, a recipe found in a sealed box in a dilapidated cottage in Waterford, this sweet tasting Whiskey with toffee and hazelnut is a taste that has proved unforgettable!

When William of Orange came to the throne in 1689 he made a series of statutes that meant anyone could produce gin!

Water freezes at a higher temperature than alcohol so the purer alcohol was allowed to drip out of the bottom of the frozen block of wine.
